Cynthia Erivo Boards Lionsgate’s ‘Karoshi’ Action Thriller
'Wicked' star Cynthia Erivo has boarded Lionsgate’s action thriller Karoshi from 87Eleven, in which Teo Yoo and Isabel May are also set to star.
Cynthia ErivoMark Seliger 87Eleven Entertainment’s Chad Stahelski, Alex Young and Jason Spitz are producing the film through their deal with Lionsgate. Wicked: For Good, the second part of Chu’s duology adaptation of the stage musical and Gregory Maguire’s novel, arrives in theaters November 21, 2025. Erivo is currently in production on Gina Prince-Bythewood’s film adaptation of Tomi Adeyemi’s Children of Blood and Bone, in which she will appear as Admiral Kaea, alongside a stacked cast of Thus Mbedu, Amandla Stenberg, Viola Davis, Idris Elba and more.
