Ahead of her career retrospective documentary premiering this week, Cyndi Lauper has announced that she will embark on a farewell tour this fall. The Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Farewell Tour, Lauper’s first major trek in over a decade, will visit theaters and arenas in 22 cities across North America, starting October 18 in Montreal and concluding December 5 in Chicago. The announcement of Lauper’s farewell tour comes a day before Let the Canary Sing, a feature-length documentary about the “True Colors” singer, is set to debut on Paramount+ on June 4.
