Crunchyroll to Release RPG ‘Lord of Nazarick’ Based on ‘Overlord’ Anime Franchise
Crunchyroll this fall is releasing 'Lord of Nazarick,' a turn-based role-playing game based on the 'Overlord' anime franchise.
Sony’s Crunchyroll is gearing up to launch a role-playing game based on the popular “ Overlord ” anime series and film franchise — which centers on a guy who gets trapped in a massively multiplayer online RPG. The “Lord of Nazarick” game, from Chinese developer Perfect World, offers “all-new canon scenarios as you command every fight.” Players can recruit from more than 50 characters from the anime, including guardians and pleiades, to build a party with others and battle powerful foes. Crunchyroll Games is publishing “Lord of Nazarick” in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Australia, New Zealand and Latin America.
