Crossroads star Charmain Abrahams dies aged 96 as ‘devastated’ family pay tribute


Charmain Abrahams, star of Crossroads, has died at the age of 96 after being hit by a delivery fan, it has been announced.

Charmain Abrahams, star of iconic soap Crossroads, has died aged 96, her family have confirmed. “In her working life she had enjoyed a long career as an actor on stage and screen, performing alongside many great theatrical figures,” they said. Her stints on the stage included roles in Precious Bane in 1957, Musical Playhouse in 1959, and BBC Sunday-Night Theatre in 1950.
