Cross Creek also acquired an accompanying hip hop music soundtrack, Straight Outta the Beautiful Underbelly of New Orleans. Trucked Up paints a disturbing roller coaster of chaos, tragedy, and self-inflicted torment inspired by author YTE Truck’s personal struggles with addiction, mental illness, and personal relationships living as a corporate lawyer by day and deranged addict by night in New Orleans. YTE Truck and Cape Mr. 500 are part of the New Orleans-based creative collective Keep Good Company, founded by designer and director DeWitt Jenkins.
