Criterion Collection’s Mobile Closet Comes to Los Angeles
Los Angeles movie lovers will now have the chance to check out the Criterion Channel's Mobile Closet, beginning April 26-27 at Vidiots.
Following its appearance at SXSW and at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall during the 62nd New York Film Festival, the Mobile Closet van is now coming to Los Angeles. Film lovers can stop by Vidiots from April 26-27 anytime between 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Additionally, the closet will be featured at the Aero Theatre from June 6-7 between 11 a.m.-8 p.m. as part of American Cinematheque’s “Bleak Week: Cinema of Despair” programming. As part of Criterion’s trek to the West coast, Vidiots will program “Bound” with Lilly Wachowski in attendance for a Q&A, as well as Federico Fellini’s classic “8 1/2” and Agnès Varda’s “The Beaches of Agnès.” American Cinematheque’s line-up for June 6-7 will be announced at a later date.
