Craig T. Nelson reveals what he took home from the set of ‘Coach’ and more for Us Weekly’s 25 Things You Don’t Know About Me feature
When Coach ended, Nelson stayed true to the ABC sitcom’s sports theme when it involved snagging keepsakes from the set. The NBC drama ran for six seasons from March 2010 to January 2015 and became known as a tearjerker for its story lines on cancer, marriage, bullying and, of course, parenting. “My favorite scene to film was driving the tractor down the main street,” he told Us of the drama, inspired by true events, and also starring Madison Lawlor and Brandon Sklenar.
