Craig Melvin filled in for Hoda Kotb on Today as she took a break from the show for a very sweet reason. Her absence was explained at the top of the episode.
Over the past few weeks, Hoda and Savannah have had quite a few absences from Today, as they soaked up the last bits of summer before their kids had to go back to school. On August 28, the dad of two, who shares kids Delano and Sybil with wife Lindsay Czarniak, revealed that his kiddos were headed off to their first day of school. Couldn’t be prouder of these two but also wishing time would slow down just a little bit 🙂 hoping everyone has a wonderful school year ahead and also some outtakes here trying to get the 5 of us (pup included) in one shot.
