Courtney Kemp Crime Drama ‘Nemesis’ A Go At Netflix With Matthew Law & Y’Ian Noel As Leads, 5 Others Cast

Netflix has greenlighted 'Nemesis' from 'Power' creator Courtney A. Kemp. Matthew Law and Y’Ian Noel have been tapped for the titular leads.

Also cast as series regulars are two Power alums, Domenick Lombardozzi and Jonnie Park, as well as Cleopatra Coleman( Black Rabbit, Clipped), Tre Hale( All-American, Platonic) and Ariana Guerra( CSI: Vegas, Marvel’s Helstrom). What starts as a series that aims to subvert the heist genre at every turn, amped with thrilling life-or-death stakes, family dynamics and explosive action, actually gives birth to an exploration of what drives us, sustains us, and ultimately destroys us. “Tani and I are excited to bring a hard-hitting psychological crime drama to Netflix, specific in location, but broad in universal themes of right and wrong, love and loss, and loyalty vs self-preservation,” Kemp said.
