Countryfile star, 84, says 'I'm getting on a bit' as he makes TV future admission
BBC Countryfile star John Craven has been a household name for more than 50 years and has also presented iconic children's TV show Newsround, and he's issued an update on his health
The veteran broadcaster, who has graced our screens for half a century, featured in The One Show segment this Tuesday (October 1), sitting for his portrait by artist Adebanji Alade. Adebanji Alade painted John's portrait"I couldn't make out conversations in crowded places, the sounds of nature became muffled and 'say it again' started to become a common response." Despite finding immense benefit from the devices, they have posed challenges too, as he revealed an urgent trip to A&E was needed when he mistakenly purchased the wrong domes for his ear canals, resulting in one being removed by emergency medics.
