Countryfile host Adam Henson's wife writes heartbreaking goodbye letters after cancer diagnosis
Countryfile presenter Adam Henson has opened up about his wife Charlie's devastating cancer diagnosis, admitting she penned letters to loved ones incase she died
"We knew people who'd died of pancreatic cancer and I absolutely felt this was going to be the end of my life," Charlie previously admitted. During an interview with the Mirror in October 2023, Charlie explained that after "28 years together" it was easy to get a "bit complacent" but that getting married was suddenly "really important." Charlie was mere hours away from undergoing a complex operation doctors hoped would give her a shot at one day meeting her grandchildren when she got hitched to Adam.
