Countryfile hit with further fan backlash as viewers 'switch off' after show lacks farming content


Countryfile has been hit with backlash from fans, who claim they had to 'switch off' after struggling with Sunday night's episode because there wasn't enough farming in it.

One installment in April featured a segment on people in the countryside having limited access to NHS dentists, which lots of viewers felt wasn't 'suitable' for the show that usually focuses on farming and wildlife. Countryfile has been hit with further fan backlash as viewers 'switched off' after struggling with Sunday's episode - presenters Sean Fletcher and Margherita Taylor travelled to the Sharpham Trust, located in the beautiful wilds of south Devon, to look at how the great outdoors can benefit both physical and mental wellbeing In the episode, Sean (pictured) tries canoeing on the River Dart to experience the calming effects of water, and Charlotte Smith heads to Warwickshire to investigate the impact on mental health that inspections can have on farmers
