Mark Chesnutt is canceling his shows as he recovers from an emergency quadruple bypass surgery.
The country singer took to social media to share an update on his health condition and explain why he had to scrap his upcoming live appearances. “I send my love and gratitude to my family and friends, the band and fans for your understanding, prayers and support, and look forward to seeing you all again soon at a honky tonk near you.” In November 2023, Chesnutt opened up about battling “extreme health issues,” saying in a Facebook post he was taking “the time to get healthy.”
