Chris Young revealed his stepfather, Michael Harris suffered a heart attack on the same day he was set to perform a scheduled concert over the weekend.
On Sunday, following his performance in Greeley, Colorado, the country music star penned an emotional Instagram post, in which he thanked fans for their unwavering support and expressed relief that his stepdad was on the road to recovery . The Drinkin' Me Lonely hitmaker, 39, also shared photos of himself on stage from the show, with his bandmates and the sweet moment that hundreds of attendees raised their phone flashlights up as he performed at the Greeley Stampede. Young was the Season Four winner of the television program Nashville Star in 2006 and has since rose to fame with his hit songs, including Drinkin' Me Lonely and You're Gonna Love Me; seen in March 2022 in Las Vegas
