Costume Designers Guild Dresses Jenny Beavan & Salvador Perez For Career Awards
Costume Designers Guild sets 3-time Oscar winner Jenny Beavan for Career Achievement Award and ex-CDG president Salvador Perez for Distinguished Service Award.
The London native also won BAFTA Awards for those three films and another for Gosford Park(2001) after a decade working with John Bright on creating the costumes for Merchant Ivory Productions. Her roughly 75 film and TV credits also include last year’s Furiosa: A Mad Max Story, Best Picture Oscar winner The King’s Speech, Dolittle, the Robert Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes films, Anna and the King, Emma, Sense and Sensibility and The Remains of the Day “I am very honored to be receiving this award,” Beavan said. A former three-term CDG president, Perez is a two-time Emmy nominee for Hocus Pocus 2 in 2023 and The Mindy Project eight years earlier.
