Corrie icon Bill Roache, who's played Ken Barlow since day one in 1960, has just signed on the dotted line to stay with us at Weatherfield for another year. In a nostalgic chat on Love Your Weekend with Alan Titchmarsh, the record-breaking TV star shared his excitement about his ongoing stint. The soap star laughed off the notion of winding down after hitting the big six-o: "When you're 60, you know, 'Oh sit down, take it easy, aren't you retiring yet? '
