With 28 years in the acting industry under her belt, Vicky Meyers, who plays no-nonsense detective Lisa Swain on Coronation Street, has had a rollercoaster of a journey. The 48 year old has not only faced financial struggles as a working actress while raising her daughter, whom she had at just 20, but has also battled serious health issues, as OK! Vicky, now single, began her career as an extra on Corrie after calling an agency she found in the Yellow Pages when her daughter Meghan, now 27, was just four months old.
