Corrie fans ‘work out’ Betsy’s real dad - and he’s already on the street
Coronation Street fans believe they have worked out the identity of Betsy's real father, and it’s a character who is already on the cobbles
Coronation Street fans have taken to social media to work out who the real father of Betsy Swain is, and their likely candidate is already in Weatherfield. Betsy, who is played by Sydney Martin, arrived on the street earlier this year and is the daughter of DS Lisa Swain. Betsy’s relationship with her mum is somewhat strained following the death of Lisa’s wife Becky while on duty, and actress Sydney describes her character as “cocky but she’s also such a smart cookie.”
