The actress, 28, who portrays Bethany Platt in the ITV soap opera, announced she is expecting her second child with her footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson on Monday. Sitting with, Sonny, the couple could be seen as they read a book with the tot, before the camera cut to a positive pregnancy test and an ultra sound. Resident journalist and self-appointed detective Bethany and she previously returned to the show last year as the writers thought her character was crucial to telling the story of Lauren's fate.
