Coronation Street's Lisa George looks vastly different from her soap character Beth Tinker as she shows off dramatic weight loss
The actress, 51, is best known for playing Underworld knicker stitcher on Coronation Street but looked worlds away from her alter-ego in a new Instagram post.
Lisa arrived on the cobbles in 2011 to go on an ill-fated date with taxi driver Steve McDonald ( Simon Gregson) and later married Kirk Sutherland ( Andy Whyment), although the marriage became void when it was revealed she had not divorced her first husband. In 2019, she was dealt one of her more dramatic storylines when her character's niece Sinead Tinker ( Katie McGlynn) was diagnosed with and eventually succumbed to cancer. Her on-screen son Craig is played by Celebrity Big Brother star Colson Smith, who has also lost weight in recent years
