Coronation Street's Janice star reveals her connection to missing Jay Slater and pleads for his return
Coronation Street's Vicky Entwistle has asked everyone to pray for her missing godmother's grandson, as the search for 19-year-old Jay Slater in Tenerife continues
Vicky, known for playing Janice Battersby on the ITV show, has been keeping in touch with the worried family and urged her fans to pray for Jay's safe return. The initial search began in the mountainous Rural Teno Park, a hiker's haven near Santiago del Teide, but has since expanded to include tourist hotspots close to Jay's accommodation, such as Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas. One empathetic follower posted: "Saw this on Facebook Vicky, it seems to be getting shared far and wide, hopefully there will be some good news imminently with all the love and support out there, just makes it so much harder when abroad!
