After his 'confidence and self-esteem' were affected by hair loss at a young age, the actor decided to undergo surgery and is already 'thrilled' with how it went.
The Coronation Street star, 25, who plays Craig Tinker, candidly told of how experiencing hair loss at a young age left him feeling 'anxious and very self-conscious,' especially with the pressures of being in the public eye. Speaking ahead of his Follicular Unit Excision (FUE) procedure at Farjo Hair Institute in Manchester, Colson, explained: 'This surgery has been long-awaited. The procedure, performed by one of the UK’s leading hair transplant surgeons, Dr Bessam Farjo, marks another success story for the institute who are renowned for their celebrity and VIP clientele including Chris Bisson, Robbie Fowler, George Groves, Sanjeev Bhaskar and Shaun Williamson, to name but a few.
