Coronation Street's 'saddest episode' has fans teary as it airs Paul death twist
Coronation Street viewers were left in tears after watching an episode of the ITV soap which focused entirely on Paul Foreman trying to come to terms with his Motor Neurone Disease
Paul, played by Peter Ash, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) last year and has been struggling more with speech and requiring round-the-clock care in recent months. On Friday (July 26), the soap aired a special episode dedicated to him, showing viewers the harsh reality of living with MND.
