Coronation Street: DS Swain’s ‘feisty’ daughter set for arrival on soap

Coronation Street is set to welcome the entrance of a brand-new character to the cobbles as DS Swain sees her daughter join.

This comes after the actress hinted that DS Swain will develop a romantic interest in someone on the Street but it won’t be plain-sailing as she has her daughter to think about. Speaking to TV Times, Vicky Myers teased: “She’s a single mum and a lot of people can relate to that. “We’re in the process of casting her 16-year-old daughter, and I think it’s fair to say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree – she’s feisty, opinionated and educated.
