Richard joined the cast of Coronation Street back in 2002 with his TV family, the Harrises, who were hiding due to the witness protection programme. The plot thickened when Craig's sister Katy Harris shockingly killed their father after a fiery row over her secret romance with Martin Platt. In the fallout, Craig made plans to run away to Berlin with Rosie but ended up leaving Weatherfield solo, waving goodbye to the street in 2006.
