Coronation Street stars let their hair down at their summer party in Manchester on Friday night, amid claims that the hit ITV soap is facing some major cutbacks

This comes after it was reported thatbosses are said to be making changes to help save money including cutting extras and increasing back-to-back filming. As well as reducing the numbers of extras used, group scenes (such as those filmed in the Rovers Return) are also reportedly being cut back.
