Coronation Street star Lucy Fallen recently revealed why she decided to return to the Cobbles after quitting the soap four years ago.

The actress, 28, who portrays Bethany Platt in the ITV soap opera, revealed that she needed time away, however, she confessed that she doesn't regret leaving the show when she did. Lucy plays resident journalist and self-appointed detective Bethany and she previously returned to the show last year as the writers thought her character was crucial to telling the story of Lauren's fate. Meanwhile, a source told The Sun: 'It's a nightmare blow for bosses after losing Faye Brookes and Katie McGlynn so close together and has thrown the show into chaos.
