The star, known for her role as Dee-Dee Bailey on the ITV soap, is no stranger to sharing glimpses of her glitzy life online and has recently been at the centre of an intense plotline, with her character fighting for Roy Cropper's freedom from a wrongful murder conviction. Taking to Instagram, the 27-year-old actress showcased her shiny medal and got real about her weight loss transformation, confessing she shed a whopping 100lbs after years of battling with her body image and experimenting with "diets, shakes and tablets". She also shared that stepping back from social media was a move to protect her mental well-being, and candidly spoke about how "uncomfortable comments" have been a challenging part of her weight loss experience, reports the Mirror.
