Coronation Street and Brookside star Kenneth Cope has died, it was revealed today - with tributes paid to "a true gentleman of showbusiness". He leaves Renny Lister, his wife of 63, years and family members including his daughter Martha Cope, who followed in his footsteps as an actor, playing Sandy Gibson in EastEnders.
