Coronation Street icon Wendi Peters, who played the role of Cilla Battersby-Brown has opened up about finding new love a year after her split from husband of 33-years

The couple have already travelled to many places together, including a romantic trip to the Cotswolds and a holiday to Crete, Greece, as Wendi shared a bunch of loved up pictures of the pair to Instagram. Wendi, who left Coronation Street in 2014, is now appearing as the evil fairy Carabosse in the Sleeping Beauty pantomime, at The Stockport Plaza.
