Coronation Street fans are speculating that a soap legend could be making a return to help Maria Connor, played by Samia Longchambon, in her battle against Lou Michaelis. Recently, she's been at odds with newcomer Lou (Farrel Hegarty), who arrived on the cobbles earlier this year alongside her thug husband Mick (Joe Layton). Midwife Marcus first popped up on the soap in 2007, became a staple character as he dated Sean Tully (Anthony Cotton), moved in with Maria to play dad to young Liam, before eventually leaving the street in 2014.
