The event saw one of the drag artists needing a breather from their performance, prompting former cruise ship entertainer Glenda to seize the opportunity to step into the spotlight. As part of her exit storyline, Julie Carp, played by Katy Cavanagh, made a return as Eileen's sister, only to tragically succumb to cancer in May.
