Coronation Street fans are convinced they have worked out the true identity of newcomer Lou - and she's related to a soap legend on the cobbles in a shocking Platt DNA twist

In January, the show announced it's welcoming a new duo: Lou (played by Farrel Hegarty) and Mick (Joe Layton). Lou burst onto the scene on Wednesday (February 12), instantly making her mark in the corner shop by giving Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) a bit of grief over some nighttime pull-ups. But the plot thickens as the week progresses, with Lou popping up again and Mick slated to rock up on Friday (February 14).
