Coronation Street viewers were left heartbroken tonight as a major character died away from screens, with their death confirmed later on in the episode
During Friday's episode, he made his brother Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) promise not to inform their mum Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) about a specific health incident, fearing it would prevent Billy from enjoying a much-needed night out with friends. Worried that photos, videos and precious memories of Paul would be lost forever due to not backing them up into cloud storage, he and David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) embarked on a mission to find it. In scenes on Monday, Billy tried to say goodbye to his partner PaulFortunately, they found the device at the Chariot Square Hotel, but it had been run over in the car park and needed replacing.
