Former Coronation Street and Suzie Birchall star Cheryl Murray has sadly died at the age of 71 years, it has been announced today.

Notably, she appeared as the eldest daughter of Billie Whitelaw and sister of Smiths fan Lucette Henderson in Morrissey’s Everyday Is Like Sunday video.
