Coronation Street star Jacob Roberts, who plays Kit Green on the ITV soap, has opened up about a new romance storyline for his character that left him fearing the worst
After learning about a shocking new storyline for his character, which involves a secret fling with Shona Platt, Jacob was convinced it spelled doom for his on-screen persona. Speaking to the press, Jacob expressed his surprise at the detective's latest twist, describing it as "out of the blue" and admitting he was concerned David Platt might seek revenge. "It's absolutely amazing... when I walked on set for the first time it felt a bit overwhelming because the attention to detail is just incredible, it actually makes you feel that you are on a real street,” he said.
