Cooper Waterman Joins New Kids & Family Animation Outfit Sycamore Studios As Head Of Production And Distribution
Sycamore Studios has appointed Cooper Waterman to serve as Head of Production and Distribution at the kids and family animation studio.
“Cooper brings a wealth of experience in both production and distribution, having guided a number of beloved family films to incredible success,” observed CEO McGuigan, to whom Waterman reports. “His ability to merge creative vision with business acumen is unmatched, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him on board as we build Sycamore Studios into a leader in family entertainment.” Up first on the docket for Sycamore Studios, following its launch last month, is an animated feature adaptation of Hugh Lofting’s children’s classic Doctor Dolittle, scripted by Cal Brunker and Bob Barlen ( Paw Patrol films).
