EXCLUSIVE: Constance Wu( Crazy Rich Asians), Mark O’Brien ( Ready Or Not), and William Fichtner ( Black Hawk Down) have wrapped on under-the-radar sci-fi thriller The Embers And The Stars. The first feature from writer-director William Woods follows an astrophysicist, who after making an extraterrestrial discovery, is forced to flee with his family from their home and are chased through the countryside by an anonymous pursuer. Woods’ frequent collaborators Mike McLaughlin, Natasha Uhrig and Justin Oakey served as cinematographer, production designer and editor on the film, respectively.
