Coming-of-Age Drama ‘Skam’ Gets Croatian Remake ‘Sram’ (EXCLUSIVE)
'Skam,' the groundbreaking format from Norway's NRK, is getting a new adaptation: 'Sram,' produced by CGM Films for HRT in Croatia.
Skam, which German newspaper Die Welt called “the biggest coming-of-age drama of our times,” follows a specific formula, with each season focusing on a different main character, while the series runs daily online and weekly as a webcast. Bruno Mustić, a producer at CGM Films, said: “We are thrilled to add our remake to this acclaimed series lineup that captivates teen audiences with its unique appeal. Julia Schweiger, senior executive Kids & Family Entertainment, Beta Film, said: “For nearly a decade, ‘Skam’ has become a beloved cult favorite among young viewers.
