Comedy legend and ITV star with famous catchphrase dies aged 66 as tributes pour in


Legendary comedian Duncan Norvelle has died at the age of 66, his wife Linda Trevallion has confirmed - his 'Chase Me' catchphrase made him a household name

The star, famous for his 'Chase Me' catchphrase, rose to fame on ITV's Saturday Royal variety show in the 1980s and died on Thursday morning (December 12). Tributes have poured in, with one person who met the star writing: "Duncan was incredibly gentle and kind and remains one of comedy heroes, and it was a privilege to spend some time in his company. He's also been a popular figure on TV, appearing on shows like Celebrity Come Dine with Me alongside Sean Hughes, Gina Yashere and Paul Tonkinson.
