Comedian Tim Dillon plays late CEO Brian Thompson and slams supporters of his death in Netflix special
Dillon is among a slew of comedians appearing on Torching 2024: A Roast of the Year, Netflix's upcoming special shading this past year's biggest moments.
The bit proceeded to see Dillon pretend to be Brian, returning from Hell (where he's apparently enjoying himself) and visiting Earth to deliver the speech he was set to give at the investor conference he was heading to before his death. While public officials have condemned the killing, some Americans who decry the steep costs of healthcare and insurance companies' power to deny paying for some medical treatments have feted Mangione as a folk hero. Luigi Mangione has been accused of killing Thompson, who was shot dead on December 4 as he walked to a Manhattan hotel where the United States' biggest medical insurer was holding an investor conference.
