Comedian mother-of-three weighs in on Arj Barker's baby-gate fiasco and says she would 'never say no' to a breastfeeding mother - after the American booted mum and baby from Melbourne Comedy Festival

Comedian Sophie McCartney has said she could 'never' throw out a breastfeeding mother from her comedy show the way fellow entertainer Arj Barker did last month.

Now, Sophie, who is a mother-of-three herself and currently on her Tired and Tested comedy tour, has told Daily Mail Australia she thinks a 'rowdy mum' who has had too many drinks is far more 'disruptive' than a hungry baby. It comes after Arj made headlines last month when Trish claimed she was humiliated and reduced to tears after she and baby Clara were booted from the theatre during his comedy show. Arj faced backlash in April when he kicked out mother Trish Faranda from his Melbourne Comedy Festival show for being disruptive while she was breastfeeding her seven-month-old daughter Clara (both pictured), but the pair have since made amends
