The performer, 41, has revealed he has had a stoma bag fitted after he had life-changing surgery after being diagnose with bone cancer.
Just three months after his wedding to wife Laura, the performer and radio host, 41, was told by doctors he had a tumour called a chordoma at the bottom of his spine in August, 2023. In the months coming up to August, Matt was performing at the Pleasance Courtyard, where he was 'high as a kite' due to a suspected slipped disc. Before becoming a comedian, Matt worked for the Labour Party, which prompted a visit from the current Prime Minister, Keir Starmer.
