Comedian Mark Steel, 63, reveals his throat cancer is 'all gone' as he thanks the doctors who saved his life after he found a lump while shaving

Mark Steel has shared the happy news he is now cancer free as he revealed the doctors 'saved his life' following his battle with throat cancer.

The comedian, 63, revealed he had been diagnosed with the disease back in October after he discovered a lump in his neck while shaving, but assured that it was a cancer 'that can be got rid of' (pictured at Hammersmith Apollo in 2014) Last October he revealed he had noticed his neck 'looking much bigger than normal' while shaving in June, but after googling the symptoms assumed it was an infection. He was due to perform at Norwich on Tuesday as part of his tour that was meant to continue until Peterborough in April 2024, but all of his shows have now been postponed.
