Comedian Desi Banks Developing Sitcom Project With BET Studios (EXCLUSIVE)
Comedian Desi Banks is developing a comedy project with BET Studios.
The Atlanta-based standup is developing a half-hour sitcom project with BET Studios, loosely based on his own comedy routines. Per the logline, the multi-camera comedy will revolve around “a lovable yet stubborn comedian on the rise as he attempts to balance fatherhood, relationships, and the pursuit of his ever-present dream.” Banls serves as CEO of his Desi Banks Productions, having created more than 3,500 original videos, working with stars including Kevin Hart, Ludacris, and 21 Savage, as well as partnerships with brands like DraftKings, Red Bull, Meta, and DoorDash.
