Columbia Pictures acquires Teddy Wayne's upcoming novel 'The Winner', Amy Pascal producing
The Winner follows law school graduate Conor, who takes a job as a tennis pro in a gated community near Cape Cod, only to find himself torn between an arrangement with a sharp tongue divorcée and falling in love with her outspoken daughter. Wayne is the author of the novels The Great Man Theory, Apartment, Loner, The Love Song of Jonny Valentine and Kapitoil. Wayne is represented by CAA, Kaplan Perrone, Jackoway Tyerman, and Jim Rutman at Sterling Lord Literistic.
