Colombian Star Ryan Castro Wins Multi-Million Dollar Verdict Over Record Label
Colombian star Ryan Castro won a multi-million dollar lawsuit against King Records, a year after accusing the label of withholding royalties.
Ryan Castro attends the 2024 Latin American Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena on April 25, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Castro and Roldán established a new company called Awoo King Records in an attempt to mitigate the problem, but the issues persisted. Castro’s victory comes weeks after the release of his latest album, El Cantante del Ghetto, which featured collaborations with Peso Pluma, Rich The Kid, and Myke Towers, among others.
