Colman Domingo has signed on to star as Michael Jackson's father Joe in director Antoine Fuqua's upcoming biopic of the King of Pop
Just days after his Oscar nomination for Rustin , Colman Domingo has signed on to play Michael Jackson's father Joe Jackson in the biopic Michael.
The production has also recently cast Juliano Krue Valdi - a nine-year-old actor and dancer who has gone viral with his dance moves inspired by the King of Pop. Domingo stated, 'I’m excited to be a part of a film that explores both the complicated soul of the legendary Michael Jackson as well as his impact on music and culture as a global icon.' 'Not only am I fortunate to have a rich, complex and flawed character to portray in Joe Jackson, but I also have a front row seat for Jaafar’s incredible transformation,' Domingo continued.
