Colin Farrell's father Eamon passes away aged 83 after a long illness as tributes pour in for the former Irish footballer
Colin Farrell's father Eamon has passed away after a long illness, it was announced on Wednesday.
His death notice reads that he 'passed peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, in the loving care of his family and the excellent staff of the Whitworth Ward'. It continued: 'Beloved husband of Eileen, loving father of Eamon, Catherine, Claudine and Colin and beloved brother of the late Tommy, Maureen and Sean. 'Sadly missed by Rita, step-children William, Keith, Sandra, Aidan, Deborah, Karl, Ciarán and Gary, grandchildren James, Ellen, Henry, Stella and Oscar, in-laws and partners, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.'
