Colin Farrell Wins SAG Award for ‘The Penguin’ After Jamie Lee Curtis Calls Him Out for Giving Her COVID: ‘Guilty as Charged’
Richard Gadd, Javier Bardem, Colin Farrell, Kevin Kline and Andrew Scott vied for the best actor in a limited series SAG trophy.
“Guilty as charged,” he said when he took the stage before adding that his “The Banshees of Inisherin” costar Brendan Gleeson was the one who gave it to him. “You mentioned two actors who are, I think, for my money, two of the most extraordinarily talented and gifted and just brilliant artists in films that I’ve ever had the fortune to observe and be affected by,” he said in the press room at the time. Farrell was nominated alongside Javier Bardem for “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” Kevin Kline for “Disclaimer,” Andrew Scott for “Ripley” and Richard Gadd for “Baby Reindeer.”
